Past Meetings
On 6/28/2019, we had a meeting at the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge near the Philadelphia airport.  We had presentations from the following:
          Paul Ostrowski of Vound Software presented on new tools including Intella
          Joseph Juarez of Susteen presented on Field Forensics for 1st Responders on Mobile Devices
          Gerry Elman of Elman Technology Law, P.C. presented on The Topsy Turvy World of Fake Products: Catching the Trademark Counterfeiters

      

On 3/22/2019, we had a meeting at the Philadelphia Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory (PHRCFL) in Radnor, PA.  Speakers included Heather Mahalik, Brian Wolfinger, Scott Lyons and Joshua Marpet.
Heather discussed Apple Health data, Cloud syncing and Google's involvement
Brian discussed issues surrounding Slack and the challenges it presents for data preservation and decoding
Scott and Joshua discussed the anonymity (or lack thereof) of Blockchain Transactions

On 11/29/2018, we had a meeting at Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) offices in Old City.  Speakers included Steve Ryan, COO & Co-founder, Cipher Trace and Gesiele Edwards, Cyber Compliance Specialist, Carbon Black.

On 9/14/2018, we had a meeting at the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge near the Philadelphia airport.  We had presentations from Brian Hill of Oxygen Forensics and Jay Cooper of Sumuri. 

 

On 5/25/2018, we held a meeting at the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office in Center City.  We had presentations from Nuix's Harlan Carvey, and our own Ken Pyle from DFDR Consuling.  

  

On 3/23/2018, we had an excellent presentation by Cellebrite on topics including cloud data extraction, drone forensics, and data analytics.  We were also served a nice lunch courtesy of Cellebrite!  And thanks to Chestnut Hill College for providing the venue.
